The new diary marks the twelve months with stories of typical desserts, recipes and anecdotes, seeking to transmit textures and exquisite flavours through original illustrations. So once again, the graphics will be highlighting the year’s theme, making readers’ mouths water with every page.

What fruits will 2023 bring? The Generali diary wishes us all sorts: pear, orange, strawberry, cherry, apricot, peach, melon, watermelon, fig, plum, chestnut and pomegranate, each one illustrated and accompanied by a “juicy” quote, and served with some interesting extra information, enhancing each month and each season with appealing illustrations and content to bring a pleasing touch to the passing of time.

2022 springs into bloom, month after month, with a selection of some of the world’s most alluring flowers: tulip, hyacinth, mimosa, carnation, rose, lily, sunflower, calla lily, iris, violet, chrysanthemum and poinsettia. Nestling among the pages that make up the year are flowers, original illustrations and fascinating facts on the world of blooms around us that fill our lives with beauty.

Every year is different from all others, and, for 2020, it is spices that give it its personality and flavour: star anise, turmeric, cardamom, poppy, coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg, chili pepper, pepper, vanilla, sesame, saffron, and ginger zestfully develop into shapes and colours across multiple illustrations that signpost the passing of the days.

Putting art from Trieste in the diary: the Circolo Aziendale Generali draws from the Assicurazioni Generali archive, selecting twelve pieces by great artists from Trieste, to make 2018 a year of beauty, enriched day after day by anecdotes regarding the artists, “sayings” and… “facts” from recent history, crosswords and naval battles.
